New Motorola Milestone AKA Motorola Droid superphone, is this Motorola's iPhone killer?
Motorola Droid
Motorola’s new top end phone is the Google-powered Droid (known as the "Milestone" in the UK), and as you'd expect it is certainly going to be compared to Google's Nexus One and Apple's iPhone.
Running Google’s Android OS v2.0 the Droid can be thought of as both a phone and a mobile-computing device.
Like the Nexus One, the Droid has voice input throughout the majority of the device, Google maps overlaid on GPS, simplified search option and it has cloud ability for contacts, documents schedules etc.
Though it primarily touchscreen operated it also comes equipped with a very useable qwerty keypad. Multi-tasking and switching between them is a smooth process (unlike the iPhone). Android may be lacking in apps at present, but this will certainly increase over time.
